Listening: The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard


I am listening to The Red Queen during my commute to the library. I can't quite figure out what is irritating me so much about this book. It's right up my alley: YA Dystopian.... but maybe I'm over the genre, because I can't help but feel like it's the same as literally every other book in its genre. Or it could be the narrator, who for some reason is also driving me crazy. 

I know there's some plot twist coming at the end, but honestly, I'll be surprised if I make it that far. 

In programming news, I'm super excited about my Nancy Drew Mystery Party coming up in October. I'm also looking for programming ideas on engaging our small, but loyal homeschool crowd.
